Hypo-sensitivity?!

So, I read back about 4 pages in this section. I saw a lot about women who could not have their clit directly touched because it was too sensitive. Well I seem to be the opposite. I barely feel anything from it. I mean... I feel if it is being touched, but I get no pleasure out of it.

It is not just with that either. Nothing seems to work. My boyfriend hits all the regular spots (neck, ears, breasts, etc.) and I get nothing from it.

Now, most women who began masturbating when they were young say they touched, realized that it felt good, and kept doing it. When I was younger and I would touch, it didn't feel like anything, so I never really thought to do it again. That is until now, in an attempt to figure out what is going on. Unfortunately, nothing still.

Now that I think about it, I am not really sensitive to a lot of things. I am not tickilish anywhere. Many people get great pleasure and relaxation from massages, but I never have.

Do you think all these things could be connected? If not, what could it be, and does anyone have the same 'problem'.* Thanks for reading, and I hope to see some replies.

*I don't know if it is really a 'problem'. I still enjoy sex and foreplay because I like being close to my boyfriend and I like that I can get him off.

I am glad that you have come to realize that we women can enjoy sex even when we do not reach orgasm. You are, however, possibly denying yourself great pleasure. The situations where I have dealt with women experiencing no arousal have usually been older women who do not like sex and find aspects of it repugnant. It appears that you have no such psychological issues.

There is a distinct possibility that you do suffer from some kind of neuropathy. It is worth talking to your doctor about if she does not dismiss your concerns out of hand. If that happens, find another doctor. This is beyond my expertise but there are physicians out there who have treated similar conditions. It is worth exploring.
