Hey, I skateboard, and the other day I pulled one of your stereotypical "America's Funniest Home Video" things where I pretty much did a split on the rail (the classic nutshot).
Anyway, I think I lucked out and missed hitting the testicles, but hit directly to the side of it. My groin became all bruised, feels like I pulled something, no big deal.
However, my concern is that erections are painful now, almost like there is a strong pull on a ligament. It's hard to describe where, but I think I can pinpoint it best as to where the base of the penis and groin meet.
Should I be concerned?

In a word: absolutely, positively, indubitably, yes.
Please make an appointment to see a doctor ASAP. Do not think that by ignoring the problem it will somehow go away all on its own. This approach to fixing things could make the problem worse. Get checked out as soon as you can, or better yet, go to the ER and be seen almost immediately.

Don't take chances with your "factory" and its "delivery system".
Maybe you just bruised something, maybe not. Do you want to guess and be wrong with these body parts that are so important to you?

Gonna hold off on the Emergency room as this happened a few days ago and hasn't particularly gotten worse (actually seems to be getting better), hopefully i can schedule something with the doctor soon. In the meantime I've just been trying to ice a few times a day or so. Maybe take an ibuprofin.
