Ok, so when you have sex, you're usually naked unless it's a quickie or something.
How long do you stay naked after you both climax? If you're spending the night together and you're both going to sleep right after doing it, then I guess it's normal to cuddle together naked then go to sleep naked together. In that case, you're both naked from foreplay all the way through the next morning. :)
What if you want to stay up for a while and do things, say watch TV or a movie together. Walking around the house / apartment naked seems awkward but is that normal? Is it normal for a guy to just put on his boxers or briefs to walk around her place at night, lounge around on the sofa or whatever? Do some people insist on getting dressed fully for this kind of thing? Do some people just insist on staying naked? If you just put on your boxers, briefs or panties, you can still enjoy cuddling that way, you can go to sleep together in them and they're easy to just pull off if you want to sleep naked together.
So what's normal?

> So what's normal?
The flip side to this is "so what is proper"?
The answer to both is whatever works for the two of you at that moment. Perhaps it is one way one time and another way another time, or, always with what the two of you are comfortable doing. There is no right or wrong answer.
What's normal is what you decide with your partner.
My GF and I both live with our parents, and when we are at my/her room, we are naked the entire time.
We only put clothes on when we get out of the room.
The only time actually put clothes on in the room is when it's very cold.
hec I'll wander around my house naked if I feel like it, what's the problem ? you do as you please in private (although I do live alone)

Be careful, people, if you live in a "glass house". We enjoy the sunlight as well as the spaciousness clear windows provide so rarely close any blinds except in the bedroom, and in the kitchen during the late afternoon.
In our neighborhood, the lot sizes are very small. Some families have a couple of neighbors on the other side of the back fence with two story houses and they can very easily see into the back yard and/or into your house should they choose to be nosy. Luckily for us, the family behind us has a single story house as do we and the neighbor directly adjacent to them has a two story house, yet because their house is offset, they cannot see more than a couple of feet into our family room thru the sliding glass door from either upstairs bedroom.
P.S. To place this comment into perspective, here in California people have wooden privacy fencing that is six-eight feet high. I for one would be very uncomfortable living anywhere east of the Rocky Mountains because the only fencing people in the rest of the country have is a cyclone (chain link) fence around a swimming pool, or around their yard, if that. I was in Michigan a few years ago visiting friends on both sides of the state and there were no fences! Your business and your social activities were open to the entire neighborhood. Talk about unnerving..... Privacy must be by the "don't look don't tell" rule. I know if we were to relocate to the Midwest or East coast, and erected a privacy fence, we would be immediately ostracized by the entire block of people. (Perhaps this is why there continues to be a healthy "western migration" of people from the east who choose to live here. Surely, it can't all be about our fantastic weather, can it?)
yea my curtains are all drawn most of the time
I'm usually naked when in the house
Every chance I get.

In this case, the limiting factor is other people in the house (parents). If one of you had your own place, would you both go all over the house naked the whole time when you're doing it? Maybe but some people are nudists and walk around naked even when alone.
So yeah, I guess it does matter how comfortable you are being naked. When I wrote the question, I was thinking of people like myself that normally don't really like to be naked. Anyway, do non-nudists normally stay naked for hours after having sex before going to sleep for the night naked together? I guess some do and some don't. In my case, if a partner really wanted me to be naked with them, then I guess I'd forget about putting on the underwear. That would probably be good for me too.
Actually, the mention here of non-nudists brings to mind the idea of joining a naturist group. I would never dare as I know that as a bloke I am bound to let myself down by rising to the occasion!:)
I often stay naked for a while after sex, provided no one besides my boyfriend is around. around. There's no hurry to cover up unless it's freezing.
Just do whatever makes you feel comfortable! Nothing is weird about being naked or the desire to put clothes on.
I sleep naked. So whenever we have sex in the evening, I'll just fall asleep :) He loves the soft cotton feel of a tshirt, so he'll just slip that on before sleeping. In the morning/afternoon, we'll sometimes briefly fall asleep curled up naked and after that hit the shower. Very convenient ;)
I must admit that as a teen, while I was living with my parents, I had the desire to sleep naked as well. But because they found it weird, it made me feel uncomfortable. So it does matter with who you live. And how your gf/bf responds to it. I can be naked in both a sexual and non-sexual way and I expect him to read that (which luckily he can).

Even in a glass house you should do whatever you feel comfortable with. Closing blinds? I'll be naked any time I want! :) I have an apartment, so the only one who needs to put up with that is the windowwasher. And he doesn't seem to mind ;) And whenever I'm at my bf's place, I don't care about such things as blinds. Only when I lay in the garden I'll put on underwear, but do at times remain topless in summer. Just based on however I feel like. People are rather discreet, even though there are only minor fences. And if they do peek... I just laugh whenever I meat one of the neighbors that gives me this kinda twinkle-eyes smile after such sunny afternoons. It's not like I'm naked all the time. But whenever it is convenient or I feel like it, I won't hurry to get my clothes back on. At times I can feel extremely comfortable snuggling up in a big jumper as well...
