how hard should a penis get?

Ever since my girlfriend and I have began having sex, the question of my erection has been troubling me a little.

When aroused, I reach a normal size (as far as I know), but I dont know if the hardness is below "healthy" or not... It becomes hard, but still bends a little under pressure. Also, (while I am standing) it doesnt quite reach a 90 degree angle. It is not straight but very slightly curved...

Should I be worried or is everything allright? I'd feel silly running to a doctor when there is absolutely nothing to worry about...

quite an easy answer...how hard should it get???
Sooooooooo hard that a cat can't climb and a dog can't chew!!:D :D :D

Oh..oh...this is not good.

OK...so far so good.

Truth be told, there can be different degrees of hardness, not so much by individual but between people. As long as you have enough rigidity for penetration and it functions as designed, you're fine. Now, if you have an erection that is pretty flexible/bendable then that is probably not normal.

There should be some slight flexibility, usually in the upward direction.

The second truth is that you will become harder in the company of a lover than when home alone. This is because we become much more turned on than when masturbating.

NORMAL. Actually, a penis can point straight out, slightly downward, to the left, right, or upward. Moreover, the shaft can have a slight bend in addition to the tilt. What a person ends up with is based upon the growth patterns between the left and right sides. It is what it is.

Now, having said that, there is a condition known as Peyronies Disease that manifests itself with a sharp bend to the left, so much so that intercourse is not possible. This is a medical problem that should be addressed.

Do you have any difficulty masturbating? No? Then, don't try to fix what ain't broke.

If you soap your hand, form a loose fist and can press your penis into the center of your palm without it folding up, then you are fine.

Your penis will get as hard as it gets. If you are non-functional, see a urologist; otherwise, be happy.

From a woman's (at least this woman's) the bar rigid penis' I have encountered feel more like I am being impaled than screwed. A little less rigidity allows me to adjust things to our mutual benefit. Luckily those bar hard ones seem to loosen up a little with age.

haha that's what my girlfriend said the other day almost word for word... Sometimes when i'm naturally REALLY in the mood like don't need any stimulators (physical or mental) I feel like a tree stump.

It is not that funny when you are lying there feeling like you have been pinned to the mattress.

Whatever turns you on!

Wood classifications are categorized by their density and also include "iron wood", those that actually sink in water; medium, and soft. Now, as I sit here before this one-eye'd monster, I'm wondering how the California redwoods that are considered to be soft-woods, can be so huge--and long lasting!
