how a girl can grow

I am a virgin, and am so small that any kind of penetration is painful, unless it is one or two fingers. I have dildos and vibrators, but I can get the smallest one in, but not the next size. Is there a way to stretch that will help me be able to have sex in the future?

Hello Betsy,
Welcome to the SI101 Board and its Forums. I hope you will enjoy participating.

As a virgin, is your hymen intact, or, has it (partially) eroded over the course of years with the use of Tampons and/or sports participation?

If the membrane is intact or nearly so, there may very well not be enough space between it and the vaginal wall for more than one finger. The membrane comes in a variety of shapes, sizes, and, thicknesses; some even have one or more holes in the center of the membrane, although, not all.

It may very well be that stretching will help, now, and before you have intercourse for the first time. Here is a link.

Please read the second part of the article entitled:
An Exercise to Help Make the Hymen and Vaginal Opening More Pliable that is printed in orange. After doing so, please read the first part, as well as the remainder of the thread.

You may find that even with stretching, as long as the hymen is there, you will not be able to insert anything very large. BTW, one finger is all that is necessary, two is one too many for a lot of women.

I hope this is of help. Got questions?

It's also very painful for me to have a gynocological exam. I go every year, and it was from my doctor that I learned to get rings to try to expand some. I can fit in the first size (about dime sized), but can not get the next size in. When I do have to go to the doctor, it is very painful. Any additional advice?

OOPS! sorry, Betsy. Here is the link

I forgot to attach the URL.

Perhaps Brandye, our resident M.D. can provide additional information.

The above reply has nothing to do with the o/p's question and concern.

Did you even bother to read her opening post or just look at a few key words in the thread and jump in so you could get your advertising links seen by others?

Betsy,

Without doing an exam, there is not much to be said. You have seen a doctor about this and she can explain what was found and, if appropriate, refer you to a prper consultant.

I have no idea what "rings" you are referring to. A ring would do little good in stretching your hymen, if that is the issue. There are medical stents, often used after vaginal or labial surgery, that could be used. So could other commonly available items. The term "hymen ring" is sometimes used in describing the roundness of the opening in the hymen itself. Using a ring would not be as effective as a tapered object in stretching yourself.

There is a sometimes serious condition that does require treatment that could be causing the problem. Ask your doctor about vaginismus. You do not give enough information to give good insight and such diagnosis could not be given without exam.

clarification about rings

The things that I have my doctor called "rings." They are basically vibrator / dildo shaped and start out about finger-sized and work up to the actual size a male's penis could be. I looked them up, and they are also called dilators.

Those dilators are the "stents" to which I refer. If you are making no progress, talk to your doctor as indicated in my last post.
