alright well im 13 n im not going out w/ this guy but i really love him and i know that he loves me too....well when we are together he gets hard just by talking to me or even looking at me....i just thought that was kind of weird...i mean to me its flattering in a way but i just didnt know that happened and if we cuddle or hold hands he gets hard then brags about it to me....is that normal for a guy...i mean it dosent bother me... but i was just wondering...thanks!

OK, the bragging's childish but please re-read what she says "but I know he loves me and I really love him too". At 13, the lines are blurred as to who's a boyfriend or girlfriend and the term "going out" doesn't mean the same thing it did 35 years ago when I was that old.
I was absolutely frightened of girls at 13. This kid's at least talking to her.
Theres a bit of a difference between just talking about it and bragging about it.
Hanksnow, normal for a 13 yo boy to tell a 13 yo "non-girlfriend" that he has a hard-on whenever he's around her?! Hmmmm, I guess I'm more old fashioned than I thought. The reaction is, indeed, normal. The "bragging" is childish.
It's very normal. It will pass as he grows up. I disagree a little bit with the previous posts. I'm inclined to believe that talking about it with you is healthy. You both need to understand that it's a natural reaction.
With the raging hormones at that age most guys can get hard if the wind just shifts a little.. I second what wiseman said about his maturity over it.

babieluv1986, normal for an immature 13 year old boy to experience this. However, I can't fathom why he feels the need to mention it to you, much less "brag" about it. At your ages, there are some things better unsaid. Tell him to call you when he grows up a bit.
