Gays and discrimination against Bisexuals

I was a little surprised to see that there are gays that think it is a problem for the gay community that people are bi. When watching this special the gay man said to the bisexual man that he needs to "pick a side" because he and other bi's make straight people think being gay is a choice. Before this I thought all gays and bi's we supportive of each other. I thought this assumption was valid since the LGBT is in existence. Anyone here have any experience in seeing or dealing with this discrimination?

Well this is a shocker to me. I know that not all people of one group will like all people of another group, but with bi and gay I kinda took it for granted. This is a big surprise to me

Please give me the source, e.g., the name of the program and network. I'll then ask my friend who is the definitive expert on the matter.

i only saw a glimpse of the special, and after looking it up i was shocked to see all of the comments made in this psychology/sociology experiment.

the special is Tyra Banks Show - Gay Kingdom 1 Gay Kingdom 2 Gay Kingdom 3 Gay Kingdom 4 Gay Kingdom 5 the video is not the best at times and is not always in sync with the audio. still if youre interested i suggest watching it.

doc - it was my58 in sac

RedRoses has a spectacular aura about
I've heard of it and actually seen it happening. There are also straight people who will certainly accept a person that is gay, but not bi. A woman who went from divorcing her husband, to living with a woman, breaking up with this girl year or so after, getting together with a new boyfriend, was really looked down upon. People were much offended that they had just accepted she was a lesbian and now they didn't know what she was anymore. And especially her lesbian friends didn't want anything to do with her after she went back to "men". There was a lot of trashtalking behind her back too; making "being bi" into a sleazy sexual thing. I was astonished by how people responded to her! I never liked her much as a person, but she, nor anyone for that matter, deserves to be treated that way because of sexual preference!
