New to bondage

Hey all. New to the site, but thought it might be a good medium. I'm a 24 year old gay male, and I've always (well, for at least 8 or 10 years now) have fantasized about being bound by another guy. I have watched lots of different videos and explored many sites, and have a good idea of what I want to try. Up til now I've not had anyone I trust enough to play like this. Additionally, I haven't wanted to seek out someone because of possible embarrassment.

Anyway, I've finally found someone who's ready and willing to play, and I want to, and we've been talking about it for some time, but I'm scared. Once the scene has started, I don't want to 'wimp out' or anything, and I'm afraid that out of nervousness, I'd end things before I needed to out of embarrassment or shame. I also tend to giggle when I'm uncomfortable. I feel as though that might be counterproductive.

Any advice or resources? I'm limited in my sexual experiences to begin with, so to add this to the mix is scaring... and exciting me.

dancinddoc2's advice is sound. Remember that it's about having a good time so there is no need to feel embarrased or self conscious. Talk about these things with your partner beforehand also.
