Perhaps the matter your encountered Mr. Saint is; the level of maturity of those who surround other's or their personal inner biases?

What causes people to react oddly? Insecurity or fear of the "unknown". Personally, I am comfortable among any sexual orientation since I am comfortable with my own.

I have encountered other's who act as if being bi or homosexual is contagious. Inner depth [of their actions] demonstrates a bias in their perspectives.
