Hi! I need some help...I'm a life long bisexual woman finally having my first sexual experience with another woman. It was HOT, HOT, HOT! But I noticed after fingering her that I didn't find her vaginal smell pleasant. In fact, it smelled like she was having her period (but she wasn't).
Do our vaginas sometimes smell like that without any flow? It took 3 times of soapy handwashes to get rid of the smell! What could cause this? I'm disappointed that this is happening with my first time, after waiting so long! I'm eager to try more things with her but if this is her normal smell, I don't think I could place my face between her legs. :-( We talked about STDs beforehand and we are both disease-free. I didn't mention anything to her about this yet (good god, how could I?!? Women are always worried about how they smell and I'd hate to tramatize her. I double checked with my husband about my smell (which I think is good) and he said, yes, it is good...so I don't know if I'm being picky or if its a real odor problem for this woman. Help! Thanks, Anna |

Maybe she just got over her period. Much has to do with good hygiene but there is a distinctive scent which is noticeable on fingers...my ex used to tease me with trying to stick them in my face since he knew it pissed me off, like he smelt like a petunia! But it should not be "stinky" I was just sensitive to it since I never wanted to smell like a can of cat food, sorry for that depiction!
Often the scent is WORSE if women use perfumed soaps. I don't know what other women smell like, I am not bi, but can just tell you what I found. I like to "tidy up" before hopping into bed especially if I had a day where I did not get to shower before sex. Also, the scent changes with phases of the cycle. Hope this helps! ![]()

As a life-long, active bi-sexual woman, the emphasis sera puts on personal hygiene is very important. I have not often been surprised by the odor or taste. We do drain constantly whether or not we end up with spots and these juices, exposed to the air, can develop an unpleasant smell. Wash.
Other considrations would include how long since she was with a man. The mixture of vaginal juices and semen can linger for a day or so. As a rule I do not engage in oral sex with a woman I am just getting to know. Nor do I expect that from her. Make a display of you washing up right before and see if she follows your lead. Doing exams in my surgery I am sometimes taken aback at the odor but, then, I am dealing with unhealthy systems.

Thanks for the reply, ladies! I never saw her again but it's good to know for the future.
