All except the latter... I don't believe that they are true conservatives. True conservatives believe in less government and less spending. Just look at the mess they have made of the budget. They have given us a massive debt. It's ridiculous.

I'd say that I am a liberal... actually I took an on-line test recently that measured how liberal or conservative you are and it seems I'm more liberal than Hillary...LOL. Of course, that's because I'm gay. Anytime you are pro-gay issues you automatically become liberal.

I can agree with all of those. I AM in favor of gun control. I stress "control". I believe you have the right to arm yourself. However, I would prefer that you also NOT be a criminal or insane and that you know how to use whatever weapon you own. That doesn't seem overly restrictive to me.

I believe in your right to carry a concealed weapon as we can in NY; with a permit. However, inconsistent state to state laws is where the issue becomes the criminals bear arms yet the responsible owners will have theirs seized. To obtain a permit as a citizen in NY...you cannot be a loon or have a past record other then a minor traffic infraction...did not wear your seatbelt. Otherwise you are revoked.

I admit by belief of what the republican party stands for--small spending & budgets has been blown! Majorly. Again why I will vote Democratic this time...I think during the debate I mentioned Giuliani said he believes civil marriage is separate then religious marriage....and he did state he performed 200 or so marriages during his time as a mayor...between man & woman [inferring due to state legislation/law not allowing for gay marriage]. Spitzner is proposing passing gay marriage as NY Governor.

So why are they gays not running? Get into something! Jim McG. Pissed me off by stepping down. He should have stood the ground. Personal opinion only. I realize he did not want the fall out but face it, it was out! His family knew especially when he came out formally. So why not dance to the music and show your sexual orientation will not change your political ability?

I am thinking I am a Democrat in disguise...LOL! Would it not be satirical if we found out 30 years from now Hillary was either gay or bi???? Now that would explain much "behaviors" which have occurred over the years...
