Really do enjoy mild (and sometimes more then mild) bondage but this is one of the things my SO has over the years become less interested in. I think the fear of kids walking in is an additional deterrant.

Mild bondage can be very easy and a lot of fun. Whether you have a pair of fuzzy cuffs (which I don't suggest because they can be easy to get out of and not very comfy, go for a pair of velcro cuffs because they can also go around your ankles, which is great for a girl during missionary!!) or if you just have your hands. In the absence of velcro cuffs, you can also use old pantyhoses. I have soft bonded my wife to the bed post using it and she loves it. Dont hurt at all as the pantyhose do stretch.
