A female point of view: Prefer my men w/out piercings!!! But, I see there is a big generation gap; when I was the age of many younger people here the big rage was triple ear piercing...it just believe body piercing is the latest but does not look as great when you are older.

Wow, I'm feeling a lot of negativity about this, and it seems that most of the people that have posted have preconceptions about the issue. As you might guess from the S/N, I have pierced my penis, many times over, and no one drove a nail through it to do it. I did win a bar bet many years ago about nailing my d**K to a table, but that is a tale for another time. When i started getting my piercings, my goal was to enhance my partners pleasure during sex, and according to her, I succeeded. how did you trust someone who was not a medical doctor to put metal through your penis? things can go wrong even with MD surgeons. what are the regulations for doing this? does he have to get a certificate after doing x amount of hours of practice? what does your girl think about sucking on metal? personally i have no interest sucking a clit that is pierced, the metal against my teeth would bother me.

First question that would come to my mind: Can you wear a condom? And without the piercings breaking the condom while busy?

If I'd want to have sex with a guy that happens to be pierced, I would feel really insecure about whether sex is safe.
With a steady and exclusive partner; I'd probably be scared of my skin inside getting grazed; yikes! Have you ever hurt a sexpartner like that? Have you ever hurt yourself accidentally? And has a piercing ever gotten lose? Also; I'd be worried about allergic reactions, since I sometimes get that with metal jewelery... Is it with piercings just like with other jewelery; that it comes in high and low quality materials, so to speak?

Perhaps a somewhat funny question; but I know that there is a difference in weight of earrings; some really feel like they're pulling my ears Is that the same with piercings down there?

Big speaking from piercing experience. (Nipples, tongue pierced 7 times, and 0guage plugs in my ears) there are some "dangers" but a reputable piercier will know what they're doing. A friend of mine had to attened a class that gace the basics, showed them how to do it and showed them how to avoid complications.

The worst thing that's ever happened in my piercing experiences was blacking ou after getting my tongue and nipples done in 1 setting. Mostly the adrenaline response (not the pain).

Poking holes through your ear(s) tongue, and nipples are just completely different to me than piercing the genitals. The glans being the area I would avoid at all costs because the risk of impotence is something I just can not get over. Piercing the underside skin of the penis seems ok and no more risks than other more common piercings. Still I would never get one, tattoos are my only body modifications.

I had a buddy who had one for quite a few years. He took it out before going overseas and also after he chipped his girlfriends' tooth.

Still has a hole and when he takes a leak it goes through both the urethra opening, and just under his head.

I wonder, Ducy; why 7 times? Did you take it out and it closed up and you had it done again? Or are there 7 piercings in your tongue right now? ...[thinking]... Speaking of "heavy", LOL!

Though I am sorta fascinating by body modification, piercings are not for me; even getting my ears pierced didn't work out that great (didn't heal properly).
