Jenn,
We each discover our sexuality in our own way. It is ours and ours alone and many men and women who go the "wrong way" do have problems within their families. Healthy families get over it. Would your other be equally upset to discover your getting it on with the guy next door as with the girl on the other side?

I'd say that if your family loves you, which I assume they do, they will love you no matter what. It may take awhile for them to understand and even accept it. Have patience and understand that you need to do what makes YOU happy. You come first then they do. Perhaps it is just that you aren't ready for sex yet. I was like that for a long time after my first time (but I was forced) If anything sex disgusted me for a long time, then I found this website and was reading more into it and it got me more open minded about it. Find out as much about sex as you can and even experiment (safely of course!) with your sexuality. If it doesn't feel right or you don't like it then stop and or try something new. Best of luck to you.
