Hey,

I am a 15 year-old gay guy. I have recently been very interested in finding an attractive 14 - 16 year-old male to have my first sexual encounters with. I am aware of all of the safety precautions I must take while having sex, but I go to a Catholic schhol, providing no homosexuals to speak to. This means the best place to meet guys in my area (Toronto), is on the internet. I cant sign up for anything that requires parental consent because I'm still in the closet. I don't want to wind up with some rapist though, so I need some advice on how to securely soul-search. Any ideas? Advice? I also wonder if you know about any gay sex moves? I am clueless in this respect and could use some pointers. Also, does anal hurt?

Joe, what religion is at the foundation of your postulations?

My God, is a loving and caring Father who looks out for and cares for his children. I have a very difficult time believing that he is therefore going to cast one of my brothers or sisters off and into hell. I recommend reading your bible more, particularly with respect to this matter. Not all references to homosexuality are bad.

As for certainly getting AIDS, well, this is just over generalization and not a certainty at all.

I suppose you can take your statement on another thread about God creating AIDS to its lowest common denominator and be right; yet, while research over the past twenty years puts forth several theories for how this illness was created, its connection to HIV, most believe it had its beginnings with certain monkeys, was mutated, and was then transferred innocently enough to humans through the food chain and/or wounds during hunting, as the most plausable explanations. That pretty much disproves the theory of a vengeful God in my book.

This Board is not the place to preach the Gospel. Please take your missionary work elsewhere.

You have the largest encyclopedia, catalogs, and knowledge base ever assembled in the world all at your fingertips. Joe, you need to avail yourself of this wealth of knowledge and information. GeneralJoe, I'm a good lil catholic boy,old as dirt mind you...but since you want to pick and choose excerpts from the Bible and use them for "your" cause,,,would you mind pointing me to the part of the Bible OT or NT which condones priests sodomizing and abusing parishoners???...I'm sure they had some type of justification and probably used biblical text to coerce their victims.....lead me to the water General !!

I understand anger at Joe's comments, but this one isn't any better. From another Catholic's point of view, this is offensive as well. Let's all strive to rise above Joe's nonsense and hate, there's no place for it. I want to make it clear that I'm not standing up for him, I'm just trying to keep us all from falling into the same disgraceful behaviour. Thanks everyone.

Hi Thewordpasser,

I'm probably too late with this but here goes....

Contact a local LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) hotline. They have information on any topic of interest to you. It can be as anonymous as you like. My suggestion is that you ask for listings of gay youth organizations in your area. Since you are using the internet, then you can also look up youth organizations on the web.

I would suggest you make some gay friends. THEN, start thinking about dating. And I DO mean "dating". You should get to know the person before becoming intimate with them. Sex is always much better when the people involved care about each other.

As for anal sex.... there are many topics on the board as to the proper methods. Check those out. And definitely remember... ALWAYS be safe. That means use a condom. (And I don't care if both of you are supposed to be virgins. Better safe than sorry.)
