HIV IS present in pre-ejaculate! Furthermore it is present in ejaculate. HIV does not differentiate its self, the factors which reduce the risk are the exposure to air and to saliva. Yes, it's lower then one who may share needles; nonetheless, it is still a threat. If you have been exposed you need to have a HIV test done at intervals and it takes months to turn positive. Meaning YOU have to use all precautions in order to prevent the spread of the virus. Initially, a test is done to determine if you are baseline negative.

It just means the risk is lower then sharing a needle with an effected person. The only reason it's lower in precum is because of the AMOUNT of fluid being transferred is less, the virus is not weaker.

It is certainly possible, but the chance is not 100%.
Do not gamble. Use protection unless you know due to medical testing that your partner is clean.
Nothing is 100% guaranteed, just a 100% risk factor.
