hello, I've been looking at vibrators and am just overwhelemed by the choices. I have never had or used one before. I had some one suggest a egg, but there are still a lot of choices. Also, this may be a stupid question, but do these things come with instructions?

help with vibrator chosing

Well, what kind of stimulation are you looking for? Clitoral, Vaginal, Anal, A Combo? If you are looking at eggs, I would suggest a waterproof one. Also, you'll want to get one that is phthalate free, as phthalates are linked to causing cancers and urinary infections. Here is a good one that also has 4 speeds. And here is another!

My lover started with a rabbit type vibrator. Size was important to her so she started with "Charlie the Chip" which is a little larger than most... ;)
Instructions? She didn't need any... She did what ever she liked...
Again, again and again... :p
i bought my wife the waterproof rabbit she loves it. [more then me ]
I do not know whether vibrators come with usage instructions. Mostly it is a matter of trying them and seeing what feels good.
Personally, I like two makes/models. The first is the Hitachi Magic Wand. It is an A/C powered device with a softball like head that is superb for general massage. Later, for an erotic massage, you can cup the ball with the palm of your hand, extend one or two fingers, and use your vibrating fingers on various parts of the genitals.
The second unit is the Wahl "Coil" or the "Essential Coil" unit/s that has interchangeable heads.
Personal battery operated units vary in quality of construction and how well they actually stimulate the skin. I don't like most, although the Rabbit and others seem to be liked by a lot of people.
My choice for a dealer is "Good Vibrations", a San Francisco based retailer that I have used for many years. It is a good store and even though it has an adult theme, it is not what I would call an X-rated porn shop. www.goodvibes.com
