I know this has nothing to do with sex but frankly the people here are very smart

Anyway If a family came into the Us illegally and the father died so it was only the mother and the 2 Kids and the mother got sick with cancer and was dying and there was no one to take care of the two kids would the government Give them citizenship or would he deport them back to where they were Born with out no one there to take care of them
The Mother is brain damaged from a brain Surgery the doctors had to perform
And she was their only Family would he still deport them back to the country without anyone there to take care of them ?

You are welcome. Skip the record searching and get to the United Way since they will get you, your mom, and the girls legal assistance NOW; they will not take them away from your Mom. As pointed out, unfortunately, you need the legal help since this is harboring of criminal behavior. You cannot just let them hang out either since your & their futures will be doomed. Teach them as much as you can; however, what you are trying to prevent is them on the streets or hiding them.

If mom is still alive...although in bad shape...your Mom can get guardianship over them. You see the news; employers who employ illegals are going to be fined to serve as a deterrent to hiring them. What do you think they will do as they get older? In essence, nothing and will be in greater issues.

Time is of the essence NOW for all involved.

You would have two choices; study to pass the Citizenship test or risk deportation. If this is a matter of concern for you; remember they are also cracking down on illegal aliens...apply for citizenship ASAP.

It is also going to depend on the ages of the kids. You say they have no one back in their country of origin to take care of them, does that mean no aunts, uncles or grandparents? If there are any relatives, and are not 18, I would think they would be sent back home to them.
Were these kids born there or here? If they were born here then they are US citizens by birth.
You have to remember that if they are young and would be put into the foster care system this means that the government would have to be supporting them and that is why they would be deported. They don't have any relatives here either? Those relatives may be able to adopt them so they could stay.

Tehy were born in Jamaica and no they have no Family In jamaica That would take them and the mother is sick as i said before :/ So i dont know If you send me an e Mail i could explain Everything Perfectly

Or just here

Well my friend and her mom came here it was 3 of them Mother and two sisters one is 16 and the other is 12
And then the mom found out she had cancer and went to the doctor because of an stroke...then got brain damage because of a Operation that went wrong :/ And she's paralyzed on her left side completely it's really scary for my two friends and their step dad the mom boyfriend is threaten to throw them out of his house he said they are not his kids although he was with them for 9 years and now he's abusing and telling them awful things they are scared to go to the Social service and end up being sent back to Jamaica where they have no one there I'm terribly scared for them >.< My grammar Sucks :P && also they lost their Birth Papers and Passport and stuff and they aren't in school haven't been in for a year cause the mother has been in the hospital for a year dying slowly :/

1-When you say step dad; is this the same guy who is the mothers boyfriend? Did a US citizen ever adopt them such as a step dad in a court of law???? THIS IS IMPRTANT TO KNOW!

2-If the answer is no you need to look up immigration attorneys and call one or get these two to social services. Where are they living????

The one girl who is 16 if she can obtain citizenship, which she shoudl be able to, can become what's called an emancipated minor...meaning she would be considered a full adult under the law and care for her sister. She would be legally responsible for her younger sister. Someone has to get them in school & food on the table. Social services, if she can be emancipated & a US citizen, can get her into housing & financial help. Can they stay with you? What state are they currently residing in? If all fails go to Child Protective Services.

If they do not take this route; these kids are going to be on the street. Life on the street is a really bad rap for two young ladies; generally it involves prostitution & drugs. If they do not turn themselves in they risk being deported. HOWEVER, since mom is still here & alive chances are they will grant them citizenship. Sending them back to Jamaica is not good either if there is no family. I do believe we currently have decent laws with the Islands & citizenship.

Get them to help ASAP--before mom does pass away.

Okay...first place to begin is to find an attorney which specializes in illegal aliens. Due to their ages; they were most likely small children & brought here without a choice. Returning them to Jamaica is not an option since no one there can help them either since there is no family. You can inquire about immigration without telling anyone why...I know the process is long but can be streamlined if an attorney is used. I know an attorney charges; however, under some circumstances they do Pro Bono work. This means they take on work for free & without charge. Look in your local phone book and find one which is close to you & call. Do not call the INS!

One effective organization is the United Way, try them since they are privately funded mainly & do provide such immigration service lawyers. Another is Legal Services Program & Interest On Lawyers Trust Accounts (IOLTA); however, the main source for these two which are funded is the United Way and through private funding. Therefore, the files are not subjected to Federal View...it remains confidential. Go to the United Way and put in your zip code to find help: http://www.liveunited.org/index.cfm

And your sure that the cops cant like send them out of the country because they cannot go to jamaica with no one there and their mother mother passed away and Her father well he left when she was just a child and the kids father is gone he passed also they both have different fathers and both passed i feel soo bad for them :/ i'm scared they will be deported
Okay...first place to begin is to find an attorney which specializes in illegal aliens. They cannot disclose information as to clients. As the attorney's they use? There is an Attorney-Client privilege where they are protected. I believe the only obligation an attorney has to breech is if a client admits to going to murder a person...that must be turned over to the authorities. The best way is to seek counsel & see what "rights" they have without acting upon anything yet. Unfortunately, if they are caught on their own, doing something foolish or are implicated in a criminal activity. Or just a cop talks to them about something they may have seen; they run a higher risk & could be immediately deported.

The best way is to go through the proper channels which remain silent. One benefit they have is they were brought here as minors by a parent which is no longer able to care for them; you cannot take kids & dump them into society in another country which is foreign to them. It's foreign since they have no ties there! Jamaica is merely a birth place for them not a residency.

The United Way does not breech info. Additionally if you have doubt/fears? Talk to a Catholic Priest...why this denomination? They cannot report any confession, I am not certain of other religions though. The greatest fear is their future here...how do you survive as an adult without turning to the streets or to gangs?

Jeez, I wish I could offer some useful advice here. Sadly, I know nothing of U.S. immigration laws, nor do I know any U.S. immigration lawyers.

I do say that Sera has the basic rights of it. Immigration lawyers will provide the best advice. Charitable organizations are probably the best to help. Here in my country, sanctuary by illegal migrant can be sought in churches. It's not a perfect solution, but sometimes works here. How it works in the U.S. I do not know. The system, the laws and the attitudes are totally different, though I imagine the streets are just as cold and brutal.

What a world we live in...

You need to also make sure they are in school, even if that is being home schooled. If they are turned in for not attending school that is going to be the easiest way to be discovered.
Now you say that there is no family there in Jamaica or just none that would take them? How are you sure that these family members, if there are any, would not take them?
Do you know how and when they came over. You may be able to search some records to see if proof of when they arrived is actually available. I was able to discover the information about my mom searching the internet. I knew the year was 1927, the method by ship, the port of departure, the port of entry (she immigrated to Canada from Scotland) with not much more info than that. You just have to find the right website.
Why have these birth records and passports been lost? Do you have their mom or dads? Were they ever here legally? Temporary residency even? And be careful, you don't want to break laws. Housing an illegal might just be a major legal issue you are creating for yourself. Be safe.
