Hello all, I'm new to the forums, but I've been reading about sex and tips elsewhere on this website and have found almost all the information here very useful, although "I" have one slight problem.
My girlfriend and I have practiced oral sex for a while now, but she is VERY hesitant on letting me finger her. We have tried it before, but, since she's a virgin, I have only gotten to her hymen. When I touch her hymen with my finger, she claims that it is very sensitive and painful. Even with LOTS of lube, she says it still hurts. Is it supposed to be painful? How can we avoid the pain? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks.

if she's never inserted anything into her vagina like a tampon or anything..then yes a finger would cause pain and/or sensitivity.
doesn't matter how much lube you use, if her hymen is still over the entrance, then its going to hurt. its going to continue to hurt until it tears or wears away through continual use of tampons, fingering, or sex.
i would just not pressure her or try fingering her until she says she's ready for you too.

I don't know why, but it sounds like she doesn't want you inserting your finger. You also mention that she's "hesitant."
If that's the case, your attempts are going to be thwarted. The pain and sensitivity are real, but are increased by her fear and lack of desire to be fingered.
I think you need to discuss this together, sometime when you're not in the heat of the moment. She may wish to remain a virgin and you should respect her wishes.
well, first i ask you do you know that the hymen is not actually IN the vagina?
if you can atleast get your finger part of the way in, it's highly doubtful it's her hymen...unless it's just stretching.
the hymen is located at the entrance, not further in there.
