Having sex at a young age

I'm 15 and I've been having sex for about 4 months now. I've done it a few time but it always manages to hurt no matter what. If we go slow or hard it hurts and it feels like its peircing something. I was told that it hurts because I;m not finished growing. But I'm not quite sure.

Well there are many contributing factors...

First off, are you getting the proper amount of foreplay? Most women need at least 20 minutes...and that is pushing it.

Second, that pain you are feeling, as if your being pierced, you may want to have it checked by your gyn...you may have a thick hymen, so it hasnt properly "broken" during sex. Its easy to take care of, just a quick nick and your good to go.

FYI if your uncomfortable about telling your mom you need to see a gyn or your afraid of her thinking you are having sex (like my girlfriend did), dont be. If she asks why just tell her you have been having problems with your period.

Your boyfriend could be partly right, your not done developing...teenage girls are not as elastic as older women, but you can still be pretty accomadating. Unless your boyfriend is well hung, or like a tree stump, you should be ok as far as his size.

I was exactly your age when I first became sexually active. It was too young but not for physical reasons. It is not normal to still be having pain.

We advocate that all women have a gyn exam BEFORE becoming sexually active (yes, I did). If you have never had an internal, it is time. And that is when and where you discuss the continued pain. Probably nothing significant but if it is, continuing damage is not a good idea.

"I was told..." was likely from someone no more experienced or knowledgeable than you.

I was once told by a doctor that age 11 is the pefect age, bone structurally... to have a baby. So being 15 isn't going to have anything to do it.

The idea of having sex very young because it is ideal for having a baby is just plain wrong. The younger a woman, the greater the problems and complications. The female body - bone structure, hormone levels, development of sex organs, breast development - is rarely mature before about 18. Then there are the social and psychological issues.

I was 14 when i started having sex and yes the first few times felt like i was going to die..
But now 4 years later it is nothing. trust me...you'll get it eventually....

And BrandyE is always usually right...Listen to her wisdom..it's great
