me and my boyfriend are in a long distance relationship but he's getting a car in september so I'll basically see him every weekend but the only problem with that is what we're going to do about sex....he was supposed to come to college here but they don't have room so until january or april he won't be going to college here....I can't tell my mom about putting me on birth control because she doesn't want us having sex in the house and she'll know that's the only place we'd be able to have sex at but me and my boyfriend have wanted to have sex since march and it's very hard not to everytime he comes to see me and we almost did have sex a few times and I got scared about being pregnant and it'll be a lot harder when I'm seeing him every weekend so I was thinking about just having sex with a condom because I can't keep paying for birth control myself and eventually (when he's in college here) I'll have to tell my mom and she'll find out that we had sex here and freak out so I really have no idea what to do....I read about spermicide but my hymen is still there and I wouldn't be able to get it as far as your supposed to so I don't think that will work until it's been stretched out more so does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do? and what's the risk of getting pregnant with only using a condom?

Having sex with condoms?

okay and I appreciate both of your answers but if I'm going to make a post on here and everyone is going to attack me then I'm not going to bother coming here anymore.....if you can't understand my grammer on here then don't reply.....I can type however I want and I'm not changing it because people might not be able to understand me....I really don't care that's not what I came on here for or asked about and as I said I'll take your and HerPleasures adivce and next time I have a problem I'll take it somewhere else but thanks for taking the time to give me these answers
And you got serious answers: use both spermicide and a condom. In decades of doing pelvic exams, I do not think I have encountered more than three hymen that wouold not allow the insertion of an applicator for foam or jelly. If you ever inserted a tampon, you will have no difficulty with the applicator.
There have been two threads in the last month that address the problem of getting on the pill without parent's permission.
There are those of us here who have English as a second language and the better you write, the more likely you are to get a good response. I read your initial post five times before I understood what the issues were.
Her Pleasure and I both gave straight answers.
okay I feel like I'm being attacked just because I asked a question and I'm trying to use protection....I didn't make this thread to hear about my grammer which is on a message board not an english report and if I thought I knew everything about this I wouldn't have made this topic....maybe both of you misunderstood me or I just took it wrong but this is a serious problem to me because I don't want to get pregnant and instead of saying whatever and not using protection at all or just a condom and end up with a kid.....I came on here for advice on what I should do about this not about how my grammer is on the internet or that I should look around more (which I haven't seen anyone who was afraid to use b.c. because of their mom and being afraid that spermicide won't work well) I'm glad you both answered my question and I'll take your advise but please don't reply if you're going to attack me because I'm trying to take precaution about having sex
I don't think he will fit in I never said that and he probably won't even be able to get in very far but I was going to keep stretching it out that way until he can and I have looked around I just don't know what to do....I want to use birth control but I can't get it if I tell my mom and I can't keep paying for it so I'll either have to give up sex or tell my mom and I have no idea how she's going to react once she finds out but if I get spermicide and it's going to work even if I can't get it as far as I'm supposed to it's worth trying but I don't know how well that's going to work
You see to be very pessimistic, to the point where you wont try something just because you don’t think it will work… well you don’t know everything, especially about this topic, I’m sure you would be able to use spermicidal foam or jelly if you try. Then add a spermicidal condom on top of that and your going to be relatively safe. Even if you do get on the pill you should still make him use a condom unless you don’t mind not going to collage if the unthinkable happened. Now you can have safer sex but you have to try, stop thinking you wont be able to and actually find out. You can get it just about anywhere they have a pharmacy so don’t let that stop you either.
I wager your English teacher would freak out at this post. You mention having paid ofr birth control but your hymen is still intact. You do not think you can use spermicidal preparations but you think he will fit in. Makes no sense.
Direct answer: you should use both spermicide (jelly, foam, film, suppository) AND a condom. Of 100 women using either a condom or spermicide for a year, 15 will get pregnant either way. Using both, 3 will get pregnant. I suggest you visit the school nurse, Planned Parenthood or a a local women's health clinic. Any of those can educate you before a pregnancy occurs.
The answers are all here. Look around before you ask.
