Have some Questions.

Few questions.

My girlfriend and I have been together sexually for awhile now. When we have sex, when I very first enter her she feels quite a bit of pain. Once im inside of her she is fine, but we wish to know if there is anything we need to be concerned about, and if there is a way to prevent the pain from happening?

When I go down on her there is a distinct smell, not pleasant one either, as well as a distinct taste. I can't say its like anything I have ever smelled before, and it's hard for me to give her oral pleasure with the scent and taste combo. Should we be concerned about an infection? Is there a way to eliminate the smell?

One last question. Is lube worth using and if so, which one do you all recommend? We purchased some Astroglide but have yet to use it. Any recommendations would be helpful.

1. A lot of gals will experience some pain when you first enter them. What you may try to do is go slower, use lube and do it every few days.
2. Every woman has her own distinct smell. She may want to wash up before you get to doing anything, and/or use flavoured lube. She may want to get checked out just in case. And if ou notice a change in taste and smell after, she really may want to see a doc.
3. Lube is definatly worth using. Astroglide will do nicely. You may however want to try regular (non warming) kind though, especially if she feels pain and gets any abrassions duing sex.

1. Will this always happen or just the first few months?

2. She does wash but after 1-2 hours the smell comes back. I believe she said her scent and taste both have changed, as she used to enjoy it.

3. We got the regular kind, knowing this would be our first lube, wanna use something basic. :)

Using a lubricant is a good idea, however, first try using her natural lubrication. Regardless, spread the lubricant around the circumfrence of the vaginal opening and over the glans of your penis and the shaft.

I also agree that you should proceed slowly. Use PRESSURE and never poke, shove or jab your way in.

Finally, you should only go inside when invited. Just because a woman is wet is no indication she is ready for intercourse. The appearance of mucus, like precum, is only an initial indication that the person is turned on. It requires much more time and effort to build a person's level of passion sufficiently.

Intercourse should only begin when she is very excited and when you are at or near the peak of your arousal just before the point of loosing control. In other words, do not "labor" under the misconception that lots and lots and lots and lots of stroking is the way to build your level of arousal and sexual tension. This is the purpose of all the fooling around and foreplay that goes on beforehand.

A good rule of thumb is to bathe whenever you anticipate making love in the next few hours. If you cannot, then I would not recommend performing oral sex. What you are probably experiencing is bacteria and stuff from perspiration.

Vaginal mucus like semen has a distinct taste. These are acquired tastes that take some getting used to.

Astroglide is good; other water soluable lubes are also good. You may find that you like one better than another. For example, supermarked store brand products do not seem to have the same slipperiness or ability to stay wet as long. When a product begins to dry out, you can either add saliva to the area or just apply more lube. Do try my first suggestion, above, first. When you do use your bottle of lubricant, apply it around her vaginal opening as well as to the shaft and glans of your penis.

It may take several months for her to become more pliant. She can help matter out considerably by doing the following stretching exercise. Once or twice a day she should sit in the bathtub filled with warm water. No soap, no bubble bath, etc. The water will help keep her body warm and will also help to soften the tissue around the vaginal opening.

Next, she should insert a finger and pull or tug in one direction, holding the pressure for a few moments before moving onto the next quadrant and repeating this in turn as she pulls completely around the circumference of the opening. When she can comfortably insert two fingers, she can continue to apply pressure although in opposition. This procedure can take several weeks or a couple of months depending.... If a bathtub is unavailable, she can also stand in the shower and do the exercise.

This is a girl thing so I won't attempt to offer any suggestions other than this seems to be a perspiration matter as noted, above.

The lube helped a lot with getting us going but she still had pain when we first began. After that it was great. About the smell, I think were considering going to see a Doctor when she gets insurance, so that should help.
