Hey everyone. I was just browsing a site and learned that there is an STI out there that is becoming increasingly present in North America called LGV which stands for Lymphogranuloma venereum. Here is some information on it from Google Health:
https://health.google.com/health/ref/Lymphogranuloma+venereum

Quite common in the tropics but present most places in the world. Men are more commonly diagnosed than women - I do not know why this is. The two or three bacteria which cause it are related to, but not the same as, chlamydia. In women swelling of the labia is the most common symptom and ulcers may appear around the vaginal entrance or the anus.
The symptoms you have been describing in another thread do not sound like it. Do not self-diagnose.

Thank you for the information Brandye. I will leave diagnosis up to the doctors who are far more qualified than I.
