Hi there,
So, I chickened out with buying my girlfriend handcuffs for valentine's day, but our one year anniversary is coming up, so I was thinking about buying her some fuzzy ones along with some kind of 'nice' gift.
My question is, other than cuff my hands together, or cuff hers together, or cuff either of us to the bed, what can you do with a pair of handcuffs?

Cuff her hands to her ankles!?
Cuff your hand to her hand...that's the only other one I can think of.

I don't know how safe that would be, since cuffs small enough to secure her hands would probably be too tight for her ankles. Also, I believe you have to take special precautions with the ankles, since it's easy to dammage the tendons there. When tying or chaining them, it's a good idea to have boots on between the skin and the rope/cuff--which would make it even harder to fit a handcuff around them.

Handcuffs have to adjust for a lot of different sizes, just makes sure to get ones that have a wide range.
Also, if concerned about tendons and such, use a bit of cloth padding or padded bracelets and/or go carefully.

(heeh, i should know) as for me and her we haven't bought the cuffs yet but we've talked about them. i had my own idea on them, how about body cuffs? like something bigger that'll keep you from separating from your partner!

I bought a bondage kit once that had cuffs (cloth) for the hands and ankles and long ties to tie to a bedframe. Never got the chance to use them

There is not really anything else that you can do with handcuffs. but about buying her that as a gift, i dont think it is such a good idea. I think you should just buy it just because not for any reason. NOT as a gift.
Me and my girlfriend find that fun. Equal opprotunity for both partners to try something, and if you have a wild imagination...Well, you don't need me to finish that.
Here's an idea for the handcuffs,
If you find a girl that is fine with the idea of being tied up then try and handcuff her hands behind her legs. Her hands should rest on the back of her knees. It might be a little wierd for her because she cant really support her head but this technique works very well for rear entry positions. Make sure that shes okay wiht it first.
Man the thing to do with handcuffs is put them on and tease the hell out of her.... she can't touch you can't push you away( if you guy are into the kind of rape scene love makiing thing it could work with that fantasy) umm.... get feathers and handcuff her feet and hands so buy two of them and handcuff her to the bedpost... make sure that if you think she won't trust you for any reason get the ones that can unlock easily without a key. Just tease her like hell.... finger her... be in conrtol if she likes it... and make sure you have a codname out of the ordinary sex talk like....platinum... or something outragious like that cuz if she says that you know to hold back cuz she didn't like what you did.
