Ero-Guro, most frequently shortened to just 'Guro' is short for 'Erotic Grotesque'. It is a sub-genre of hentai featuring blood, gore, disfiguration, torture, and bloody amputees. Many, if not most people to see it either see it funny, cool, or gross, although there are some that see it sexually attractive. Guro is just art, not real.

Confusing... Even after reading the links... It's referred to as pornographic, yet also the word "art" comes up...
What is the main purpose of such video's? What was it intended for?
Adult entertainment? Entertainment? Or art?
I'm not going to debate what the definition of art is (or we'll be bizzy forever ;)) But in my opinion; the intentions and background of the artist/maker makes a huge difference. Also in my appreciation for it.
Sex is frequently used in art. Disfiguration could also be part of it. Such as the work of Hans Bellmer and Louise Bourgeois. Two artists with very different backgrounds but somewhat similar work. Both use disfigured bodies as a great part of their art; whether it's male or female is sometimes hard to say. Like the differences between male and female dissolve.
Sorry for addressing a subject I so clearly know so little about... The question just kept floating in my mind... I'll probably don't want to see this Guro. Stuff on the internet have really scared me more than once. Probably I often get too empathetic (even with cartoons) ;)
I agree with you RedRoses,i don't think i'd like to watch "Guro".It seems that some people like it but it's not "my cup of tea" i'd probably throw up and it would totally disgust me.I don't know if i'd want to be with anyone who likes it either.
no i dont take any sexual pleasure from guro but i do find that in some cases the art work is amazing. the accuracy of the internal and external anatamy of the human body in the drawings is very good. in a sick way i can see how this can be a turn on but still its still a little to graphic for my taste.
