Start by suggesting that everyone be nude for an evening party!. It works for me.

Shyguy - talk with them first to broach the idea and then let it go. Wait for their responses before you go any further. People are not all that comfy with swinging as they might at first appear.

I bring up ideas like this all the time. Good thing my wife's a little more patient or else I'd have been divorced about an hour after the wedding.....we had a cute waitress ;).
