Wow...you two have something special going in so many ways.

Flowers are nice, although guys have a tendency to believe, wrongly, that a bouquet of flowers fixes everything. I offer three suggestions for a gift of flowers:

* Rather than stopping by a store and buying a run of the mill bouquet, take the time to seek out a florist who can create a "highline" arrangement. These bouquets are much more artistic and creative and show that you have put extra thought into the purchase and thus the importance of why you are presenting them. Not every flower shop is capable of creating these so shop around. Plan to spend at least $50.

I like to use sticks of Curly Willow to accent my arrangements. If you want to add a suggestive hint, then use what is often referred to as "the little boy plant"--you know, the one with the red leaf and suggestive male appendage in the center!

* Another creative approach is to pick flowers from your garden or that of a friend and make a bouquet yourself.

* If the girl in question shares your bed, then scatter rose petals in a trail from the hallway through the bedroom door to the bed and up to the pillow.

Last night I had good luck with a bit of a steamy suprise.

I went out and bought some scented tea candles, a fire log, wine, lindt chocolate, whip cream, and some fruit (strawberries and mandarine oranges), I also bought a rose, and already had some massage oil.

What this made for was a romantic candlelit evening, with a toasty little fire. Relaxing with some wine, and accompanied by a nice chocolate fondue, which quickly turned into chocolate body painting, then massage.

It was one of those spur of the moment "I feel like lavishing her" nights and was very well recieved.
