me and my girlfriend have been going out for a year and weve had sex pretty often the entire time. But for some reason in the last 3 weeks or so she just stopped and is completly turned off by sex, im just wondering if this has happended to anybody here and what it could be caused by

I think the best thing to do it talk to her. It could be a multitude of things, she could be depressed or stressed etc... At least when you talk to her you can work it out together.
i agree with brandye. just ask, plain and simple. communication is essential to a relationship. just ask her straight-up whats wrong. then help her through whatever it is

Only she knows why. It is not unusual for young women to have some regrets and turn off for a while. For instance, I started entirely too young, quite and it was a few years before I became heterosexually active again. Other women here have stated similar. Ask her and live with the answer.

She might feel that you're "using" her for sex. You certainly don't want her to think that. You might have to kick the habit for a little while to let things calm down, let her make the decisions.
