Girl on Top-Hurts

I've recently begun having sex with my boyfriend and I was wondering if it is natural for it to hurt when the girl is on top. It feels good, but at the same time there is pain and i'm not sure if its because i'm not use to having sex or if somethin could be physically wrong? Can you help me please?

harmless has a great point. The type of motion that you are using can completely change the feelings and sensations. If you are very sensitive there then go for a slower more rocking motion, varing the angles up so the he isn't hitting your cervix directly.

ALso, I find there is a big difference between my sitting up on top of him and lying on top of him. Try changing your own body position on top. Also, one thing that I really enjoy is mounting him facing backwards. It changed the angle a lot and has been incredibly pleasurable!

maybe try the smooth hip movement.. its kinda like you humping him.. but not up and down.. kinda wiggle your hips.. try that

On an aside, once you've had your check-up and if it is still uncomfortable then you should try some different positions, perhaps he is hitting your cervix which is very tender and uncomfortable for some people despite the depth feeling good everywhere else. Some great alternate position are him on top, doggy style, or you on top, but with you leaning back so he is rubbing along the upper edge of your vagina instead of hitting the cervix.

Hope this helps

and after, from then on.. yearly.

There is not nearly enough information such as where is the pain, what kind of pain, steady or intermittent. Every woman should have a pelvic exam before becoming sexually active. Maybe you better get a check up.

Hmm, i used to have that problem!!!! and the most comfy was.. being on the bottom, and stuff.. hmm i found that it was because i wasnt.. "wet" enough.. we just Jumped right to it.. now we take our time maybe take your time? and if... you are takeing your time and you are pretty damn wet... then, what i would suggest, is maybe just going to your doctor, and just talking with him/her about it.. seeing what they say... about it..

Could also be that you're getting sore. Then you're first start having sex, you are not that used to it. So you gotta be a bit more careful and use lube. ANd also, try variating on that position, cause it could be the problem of how you're positioned. Try everything, it's the best way to find out what works and plus, it's fun. Good luck

it could be just the position you are in.
are you sitting straight up?
when im on top i can't sit straight up b/c its too deep and hurts.
i prefer to lean forward on my arms and just hold myself up.
its gets a little tiring after awhile but feels much better. esp since you can angle it so that your clit is rubbing up against him.

just try different positions. if it hurts in EVERY position no matter what. then something might be wrong and you should see a dr.
