We're guessing its from friction on the corona (bumpy parts) of the penis, as it doesn't happen before she goes that far. Is this common or make sense?
Is there any way to get around this (lip chap, lubricant, etc?)

Maybe her lips are very chapped, and irritants from the oral sex could be getting into very small cuts on her lips?
Try having her use chapstick, and apply it often all through the day to see if that helps. I'm not too sure on this one though.
I'm surprised that she's not already using a chapstick. Why wouldn't someone figure that out for themselves?

I never heard that, but it might be because of any skin infection or erection.
I've actually heard semen described as an astringent. Which means it can irritate the skin, especially if it's already irritated.
She needs to keep her lips moisturized, and you lubed.
She could be allergic to sperm. This is not a joke. Some people are allergic to sperm.
Go to the doctor to figure this one out.

Silvercan, its a very good possibility that she may have had chapped lips; the same thing happened to me and i didn't even realize they were chapped. tried some chapstick before the next time and it was fine :) good luck with that :)

Unless he has Ejaculated beforehand there is very little chance of Your theory of her being allergic to semen to be the cause of this problem...

I thought his pre sperm could be the problem.
It would seem to me someone would have common sense to notice if his or hers laps are chapped.
