I was just wondering if someone could clairfy if it is a normal reaction to being on the pill? I understand you can miss a month when starting on the pill but my gf has now gone 2 without. I mean she does 'spot' so to speak but its nothing near a normal period.
Any advice or info on this 1?

Depends on the pill she is taking and it also takes time for the hormones to adjust to BCP's. If there is a risk of pregnancy; get a home preg. test or see the doctor.
There is no reason she can not call the prescriber of the pill and talk to the office regarding her findings.
The pill is microgynon if that is of any help
I pulled this off of netdoctor.co.uk for you...its for the microgynon 30 but Im sure it would be the same for the 21 as well....
Women using this contraceptive for the first time may experience menstrual irregularities such as spotting, breakthrough bleeding or missed periods. Consult your doctor if any breakthrough bleeding persists. If you don't have a withdrawal bleed for two consecutive months you should do a pregnancy test before starting the next month's contraceptive cycle.
So Im guessin it rules out the posibility of a 4 period a year type pill
The pill is microgynon if that is of any help
SHE needs to call the doctor & a pregnancy test before should help.
I seriously wonder why she is not taking the matter into her control through acting on medical attention or reassurance.
