Okay, not every sexual experience is WHAM-BAM-THANK-YOU-MAM. Some are meant to be slow and sensual and ya know, mind blowing so that you both feel extremely loved afterward. Is this true or has my mind been warped by soap operas and romantic movies? lol
My boyfriend of 8 months is wonderful. We can't exactly have sex in the most romantic of places and he does his best to make it as romantic as possiable...and there has been 2 or 3 times in which it was that 'oh so magically feeling', but usually we're just in a hurry so we won't get caught. But most of the time he's not very romantic.
Can anyone give me advice on how to get him to make it romantic? We're spending our first night alone in about 2 weeks and he knows I want romance which, like I've said, he's given me at times. But I don't know...most of our sex times are the WHAM-BAM-THANK-YOU-MAM kind.
I just want them to be more sensual and all that jazz.

If you are hurrying to avoid being caught, it's pretty hard to have that soap opera moment. I would say that if he slows down and takes his time with you when you guys actually have the time, then there's no problem to solve here.
One thing I might mention: many of us have a tendency to get stuck in a rut. If all you do is have the WHAM BAM type sex then he may very well grow to accept that as the norm. Then one day when you actually have time and privacy, he may still be in the WHAM BAM frame of mind even though it's no longer necessary.
I would say just make him aware of the fact that you long for a more passionate encounter with him (I believe you have already done this).
He might be pressured and unable to do romantic thing and gestures for you, i dont know. but what i do know,is if a guy isnt romantic, you cant make him a romantic.
