Abuse of power can sometimes be good...I think :p

So today. I'm not really sure what's gotten into me, but I was very self confident. There is a girl I have had my eye on since the day I met her. See she comes into work with her friend and one day I gave her some advice because she was doing a lift wrong and would hurt herself.

Anyways, while walking through the gym I saw her on a treadmill, I walked over, smiled and asked her her name. She told me and smiled while asking for mine. I felt awesome. Yes dumb I know but here's where it gets good.

While doing "Insanity" in the group room, they came in to stretch and work their abs. So after sweating my but off, I walked over and abused my power.


It went something like this.

"Hey, (smiley face), I'm a certified trainer and if you would like, I work tomorrow and Saturday night and would love to show you some exercises that will make your life in the gym 10 times more effective. (Smiley face)"

And they were like "that would be amazing, definitely (super awesome gorgeous smiley face)." And of course I smiled at her friend as well so as to not look like a prick.

And as I was leaving, I believe I even got the sexy lookback grin. (Although I wasn't sure cuz my workout partner/wingman didn't do his job)

sounds like you opened a helpful door for them, and a rather nice soft warm door for yourself. Two doors at once. An abuse would be if you forced them.

example of abuse: Manager forcing cashier to perform sexual acts.

Not abuse: Offering a friendly service in hopes of one day getting to know her more personally

see the difference? it was her choice, therefore it is not abuse. It is an ulterior motive!

Ya the more I look at it the less I see "abuse". A friend of mine who does training and bodybuilding showed called it abuse. Prbably because I had a different reason other than helping them at first lol. But its a great excuse to make conversation.

If I could use my black belt, army fatigues (for airsoft), motorcycle liscence, or reptiles to get a girl, I sure as hell would!
