It amazes me that so many adults can have such terrible grammar and PM me such ludicrous questions while personally attacking me because they don't like my opinions and answers.

Come on people. This is a forum that discusses sex and relationships. If your not mature enough to keep an open mind or press F7 on your computer then stick to yahoo answers. If you want to debate someone on their opinions then please...aknowledge and refute their arguements with facts. Do not resort to ad hominems. There is no merit behind this. And do not judge someone before you no them. There is no respect or courtesy when telling someone you are "glad" that their fiance left them. Its childish and disgusting. Especially when you do not know the circumstances.

interestingly enough i find with text messages adults use the text talk more than kids around my age. but if you have a qwerty keyboard with spell check (which i use often) there is no excuse for using short hand especially when you are dropping words left and right. it makes people have to guess what you are saying and it slows down how quickly i can read through a post

So far, I'd advocate for complete words and sentences because this is a very international forum. Everyone should be able to understand it. As for mature discussions; I value this way more than proper use of the language. As long as someone is clearly trying and not just bungle and press submit reply, I won't bash their heads in for phonetic writing.

As for ludicrous questions. The only stupid question is one not asked. I'd much encourage people to post on the forum instead of pm, because the answers given may be very valuable to others. The people that pm me are usually genuinely looking for an answer, many times they feel a bit embarrassed or even ashamed for their lack of knowledge. Or they simply need help to find their ways on the forum, being unfamiliar to such realms. I've also received pm's of people thanking me for one of my posts as it was helpful to them. Those make my day! I don't claim to be any expert, I'm just glad if I can be of some help Any pm's with "wanna chat" or "nice avatar", stop sending me those!

You are correct in that there are no "stupid question." There are stupid answers and the Board has been crowded with insipid questions and stupid responses lately. It runs in cycles and we shall get back to reasonable discussions again - soon, I hope.

I really don't even get how people can misspell things apart from being Brobdingnagian idiots. Firefox AND Chrome have built in spell check systems that are often more flexible and effective than anything Microsoft ever squeezed out.

International folks too should at least be able to see a red underline on the words they are butchering, know how to left click, and pick from a list of suggested words. We might get some people then who carrot spiel anytime, butt it wood bee aether then incompetent woes.

given the nature of the forum and site, I am surprised that anyone who confesses to be of a young age is allowed to remain as a member. I haven't been a teen in a long time and when I was, there was no texting and we had to take spelling and grammar tests in school to be able to converse without looking like a complete dolt.

I do use the aforementioned 'lol' way too much though, but that one is practically current vernacular anyways
