I did a search; these questions do raise my curiosity at times, just wondering what you'd need to do to become à sexologist and just wondering what backgrounds are of practicing sexualogists. I am astonished to read that there actually is no master degree on this here(!) However; there is a postmaster training programme with à certificaten provided by the NVVS (dutch association for sexuaology, that stimulates research and education on the matter) This training is available for doctors, psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers and nurses (and anyone else who'd think is qualified, but needs to surrender him/herself to judgement of an admissioncommity). For lack of existence of certifications, NVVS decided to cooperate with a training institution and provide a certificaten themselves... Strange world it is... They did seem to have done a thorough job though; 2 years training consisting of 40 classes (4,5 hours each) plus an internship for a year during the second year. But it seems weird that it's not in a university or other governmental educational institution... Makes me very curious to know how this works in other parts of the world... Perhaps I'll do another search another time...

Oh, the Red Rose is a falcon
and the White Rose is a dove
But I send you a cream-white rose bud

For the love that is purest and sweetest
has a kiss of desire on the lips
