Post Background Checks?

Good evening to you all. I have a question about background checks, I am wanting to get in on a little business venture with a fellow but would like to do a quick background check to make sure I'm not getting in with a criminal, can't be too careful these days! There are a lot of sites out there, but most of them want me to pay and without seeing any of the information before hand! How am I supposed to trust that? Does anybody have one to recommend that is cheap/free? I just need basic history of any possible criminal offenses, things of that nature. Thanks in advance!

Depends upon what industry nd country. But you want to check with your regulatory agencies, the IRS and the pertinent trade associations first before paying any money. Most of the above will give you the required info for free. You can also ceck with the police and the bankers in your area. Just a friendly chat asking about his criminal record and his business reputation. Then you get a credit report, which will require justification and money.

or you could just hire a LAWYER to do all of this for you. In fact, you should hire a lawyer to FIND you the best lawyer to do this for you - negotiate a small fee and they have to do their best for you. The first lawyer should cost about $50. The second lawyer will cost more.
