Non-dysfunctional painful intercourse
Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this subject, but I couldn't figure out where else to put it. This was an ongoing problem that took years to work out and maybe someone else will benefit.
For years I had problems with intercourse. It seemed like it just wasn't working, a barrier a block, what? Of course I sought medical advice and the male GYN told me I must have vaginismus. After reading about that I thought he was nuts. Later, a female GYN told me after examination, that she just couldn't figure what might be causing the difficulty.
Years after these experiences, I was in physical therapy for ilio-tibial band syndrome, and a candid conversation with the excellent PT revealed that having one leg significantly shorter than the other made my pelvic region lopsided which meant everything inside was canted to one side which was causing the difficulty with penetration.
Not all sexual problems are emotional or psychological in origin!
