i am planning on write an article in favor of legalising marijuana and if anyone here knows any good credible websites both for and against this topic it would be greatly appreciated

i know enough for a good basis of this article but i need to have actual statistics in my paper

As of Jan 1 in MA, possession of up to 1 ounce of marijuana is a civil infraction and the punishment in $100 and they take your dope. This was passed due to a ballot question. It also covers hash and hash oil as the active ingredient is also THC. The Mass.gov website under public safety has a good amount of information.

well I'm asking for websites that both support it and don't and also doc my signature is a lyric from a song, my name isn't Jamie Madrox and my testicles are normal sized but thank you for making my day 150 times better which i really needed, i know a fair amount on marijuana but for this article i will need actual statistics and sources because for this to make it into my school paper I'm going to have to cover everything (I'm even going to do an anonymous survey of how many kids habitually go to class high).

I know in New Jersey, just to fuck you over they will weigh a marijuana plant with the soil and pot it may be in, and declare that to be the quantity of drugs just to bump you into felony territory.

are you in high school, or in college? you should be able to go your school library and use the colleges resoures data base. you can look up journals magazings and everything in between. from any major. psych would be a good start for a papper or artical, following political, and economical stands.

i'm in high school, so even www.norml.org is blocked on our computers so i can't turn to the school for information, and even if i did i would have to take it with a grain of salt

If you live in a town with any colleges around you should go visit one of their libraries. They will allow guests to come and use their resources for research, just go check in at the front desk, they should hook you up with a guest pass for the computers. You can use their databases to find articles that are more specific to what you need.. scientific studies, statistical analysis, actual research that has been done etc. as opposed to a "habitual smoker" talking about why pot should be legalized on his blog.. not that such a person would be wrong or even has his facts wrong, they just usually aren't well referenced.

Start there for objective research such as case studies, sociological surverys, and the like.
