Question on clothing, for the busty girls here
My gf wears a bra size 36DDD and is fairly slim (though still curvy). She has never been able to find a button down shirt that fit. They're either button popping in the bust, or like a muu muu in the belly. Can anyone recommend a place to buy an off the rack, simple, button down shirt, that would fit someone of her shape?

I think you mean button up shirt. Button down means the collar of the shirt has buttons which hold it down. It seems to be a common mistake in American usage.
Anyway I understand what you mean. Having a busty wife myself I can empathize. Take a look here http://www.dailycandy.com/new_york/a...6/Off+the+Rack here http://www.rebeccaanddrew.com/ also this for other ideas-similar to the tips you'll hear on What not to Wear, the real one on BBC with Trinny and Susanna http://www.alphamom.com/smackdown/20..._are_doing.php This is a start. I hope it helps. I am sure that as the day goes on some of the fashion conscious busty ladies on the forum will have additional tips for you, best of luck. |

My wife has similar sized breasts and she hates almost everything she tries on. She doesn't want the focus to be her chest, and everything that would fit right would do exactly that. I think Brandye has a pretty good idea.

36DD sounds pretty tough, what is her shirt size. My girlfriend is 32D and a size 0/xs, some clothes are too tight and its noticeable behind the ribcage.
depending on your age group, if you are mid 20s or younger, try abercrombie/hollister. |
