Now, back to straightening up the house before company arrives. Thank goodness it was cleaned earlier in the week. The turkey is in the oven, the ice cream is ready to be churned, and later this afternoon, I'll build a salad. Pot Luck is so nice, the company is bringing the veggies and pie. I'll check in from time to time, yet, this is probably going to be a long weekend with little Board activity me thinks. Prove me wrong....

Oh, the beauty of pot luck! Good luck!
I did the whole dinner from scratch with all the trimmings...and the Crostata, Apples on the top (sp?)! I did it alone for 20...I am beat! I completed the cleaning last night [or this am shall I say at 1 AM] of the house...and had to freshen it up this am at about 6 AM! Plus watching the human & furry kids!!!! If I may point out - just because this day is "an American holiday" - is there not something those who aren't American are thankful for? I see no reason why people cannot celebrate any holiday they wish to or to not celebrate - for that matter.
Take every opportunity to REJOICE!!! Otherwise life is pretty dismal. We went to my Mother's house and had a GREAT time!
