how big is too big?

Yeah I knew that would get your attention CL.
I just got some pictures of a wedding of a distant relative. Now I think I have discussed that the women in my family, except me and only me (by blood) are chesty women. I can walk all day without a bra and as much as this pained me as a child YIPEEEEEEE. Sorry to the men that like em large, yes goof has gotten over it.
So this young lady whom I have never met, family issue goes back, way back. Is wearing a strapless gown. Now she has to be at least a D cup, and a little overweight who in their right mind put her in a strapless wedding gown. The bridesmaid dresses are beautiful as is the bouquet. Her new husband is about a foot taller than her and I'm sure he enjoyed the view. If there was a view because like I said this woman has to be at least a D cup so she has to be kept in that dress one way or another.
So how large of a chest should be put in a strapless wedding gown? I don't know maybe I just didn't like the dress, but compared to the bridesmaids she ain't all that in it, and a bride wants to be the standout on HER day. If she fell out of it I'm sure she was. Yes distant, have actually never even met her. Her dad is my dad's twin brother's son. So she's a 2nd cousin. It's a long story, brother's bicker, me and my brothers are between 11 and 15 years younger than our cousins.

Chik,
I am not at all sure what you are going on about. But since I like boobies of all shapes and sizes I'll take it to mean that you want to know how big a bust is too big to go strapless.
Well there are bras made for use with strapless dresses and gowns. There have always been strapless bras for A-C cups and even D cups. It has traditionally been all but impossible to get a DD cup (US) strapless; now you can find them, but one that actually fits well and works well....

Anyway, women should use strapless dresses, gowns and tops in public only if they either don't need a bra or if they can actually find a strapless bra that works well. The other option would be a made to order garment with built in support.

What I find truly unpleasant is a bra that has transparent shoulder straps used used with a strapless dress. Now THAT is truly tacky!

Considering that more than half of all women are wearing the wrong size bra at any moment, how can you expect them to even try to match bra, top and body type even for a wedding. Yes, arrogant and tacky but all women watch all other women and should learn what goes together to look put together.

As for the transparent straps, those are beyond tacky!

No. They are nasty. So are those when they are falling out of their dress; very uncouth.

definite agreement on the clear bra straps..hello..you can still see them..and they are still obviously bra straps..who are those girls trying to kid?

Anyway, goof'schick.. I too would be somewhat shocked to see a woman dressed so on her wedding day. To me a girl should look classy on her big day.. and I'm guessing that if shes a busty woman and wearing a strapless, there was bound to be copious cleavage.. and that just isn't a classy look for the occasion.

From the pictures it looks like this dress is heavy, maybe a brocade (sp) and not at all light and flowing. This was an outdoor wedding in late June. The bridesmaids dresses had a cross V neckline, not cut to the navel but to the middle of the breast. They were a light mossy green and look either silk or satin, to just below the knee. They move. It was a daytime wedding as well, maybe it was her mom's??? If it was a hot day, she roasted.
I do know about strapless bras, with a large cup it helps if the dress adds some support to the bottom of the breast. And those clear bra straps are WRONG. It's not that I never wear a bra, and if I buy one with them I usually just throw them out. And well in one of the pictures there is a little, back fat, puckering out at the top, side, back of the dress.
She got BAD advice, thanks for listening. I would never say anything to anyone in my family
