I've been outed

I've been outed, and in the worst way possible.

I'm eighteen years old and I come from a conservative, Christian house hold.

My girl friend and I were spending a week at my house with my parents and brothers. We had sex multiple times, but we were not caught and I covered up our tracks.

It was a great week, and I thought everything was fine.

But my Mom switched my laundry over from the washing machine into the dryer and found a sliver of a condom wrapper in my jeans. Well, ****.

Basically everything went ablaze and I ended up, under pressure, swearing myself to abstinence till the end of the year.

So, I'm asking for moral advice - this may be the last few months I am able to spend with my girl friend, and I love her, and I love having sex with her. Yet, I did just promise my father that I would abstain from sex. What should I do?

Anyone else have any stories like this? I think I'd feel better about it - you know, misery loves company and all.

Have sex. You dont owe anything to him. I mean its your life. Your a legal adult there is nothing they can do. What do you mean by this may be the last few months you spend with your girlfriend.

You should talk to your parents. YOU SHOULD'VE CROSSED YOUR FINGERS WHEN YOU SAID IT!!! If you're so Christian, you would know swearing is a sin anyways... so you'd be like reversing it if you had sex.. ha I like that way of seeing it.

That's the thing - I'm not a Christian. But I try to be a moral person.

Also... well, my girl friend, now away from me for Spring Break, sent me a few pictures of herself. You know. I think my Mom went on my computer and checked my email, because my Dad made a note to tell me to be careful with things on the internet, because once they're out there, you can never get them back.

But I'm not sure. This is a pretty ****ty night.

I guess I need to tell he that my parents maybe have seen her naked.

at first i thought you meant as gay... and then i got super confused at the condom wrapper part cause i thought you were female when you said 'girlfriend'. ha. wow i rock.

anyway! i'm with ducy. i get that you respect your parents and everything but it's not like you're shootin up heroin in the laundry room or having lots of random sex. you're in a commited relationship with someone you love. and you're a legal adult. there is nothing they can do but be a little disapointed in you, and that's what we teenagers are best at! disapointing our parents is what these years are for. go on, scurry off and enjoy your adolescence! (as bianca from 10 things i hate about you would say...)

Well, I do go to a boarding school that they pay for. If I'm caught having sex there, I'd be suspended. So I guess they do have a bit of a say in it. But still, I've never been caught.

That's a great way to see it, but his parents are strict. You feel this obligation to your parents, obey them, and if you don't.. you feel like you just committed a massacre.. it depends on how you're raised.

Dude I completely understand where you're coming from. My dad doesn't even allow me to have a boyfriend, of course I still do. I really do get it, it's just a crappy feeling.. ugh I hate just thinking about that night (if you read the thread).

i don't really have a perspective on this, sorry. i guess i'm way lucky. i live in a world where parents drink beer every night and only buy organic eggs and wouldn't care if i was locked in my room with four half naked men.
