To all who have suffered
The trauma of sexual abuse, I apologize. And to all those who have had the strength to confront these demons, I salute you. I will never ever know the full pain of the flashbacks, the trauma it causes to every facet of daily life, or the fear of confronting these demons.
I will only ever know a fraction of this. To fall in love with someone who acknowledges but refuses to face these demons is agony. I can only hope that everyone will take heed to what I say. No matter how much it hurts, no matter how hard it gets, face them. You may think that everything is fine, but you dont realize the complications it will put on those who care about you. Be it man or woman, the complications are the same. Peace, Collin

You seek a psychiatrist...sometimes someone who is good w/hypnotherapy (use caution though in choice) can help. If you feel something may have happened you may be correct...the mind has ways to suppress thoughts for self-preservation.
