School Help

Niccolo Machiavelli

Know this guy? I'm sure some of you do, noticed that some of the members are very intellectual beings.

I need help in finding a newspaper or magazine article about someone or something (company, country, leader, etc.) acting in a Machiavellian way (ever read The Morals of the Prince) in 2007 or 2008.

I've looked in many databases. Decided to do one on Bush and his reasons for war, but of course most of the articles are critiquing Bush and the war.

I was thinking of using this one, what do you think?

http://school.eb.com/all/eb/article-...war%202007&ct=

I don't know if it'll work because towards the end, the author begins harsh criticism of Bush.

PLEASE HELP ME! Just need one article!

Look for an article on Robert Moses...a man whose power exceeded government. Absolute power leads to absolute corruption. He exemplified this by becoming more powerful then political leaders through forming alliances to get his way in NYC...and had NJ involved. He ended his reign through Rockefeller who was the strongest to bring him down.

Um.. Thursday.

Yup I was thinking about that, I think it'll work nicely. But I feel I could find something better, the tricky part is that it has to be in 2007 or 2008. If it wasn't based on those years, I could prob do Roosevelt, Lincoln, Grant, McKinley, Rockefeller, pretty much any leader I've studied! I think that would've been better.

Thank You Sera again!

Then begin with Bush's power reign post 9/11 and how he lead a nation to date and the current impacts of his actions.

If you have access to PAR (Public Administrative review) Volume 68 Number 2 there is much current talk about the NPR & Bush.
