Thinking of Babysitting for a job

I've been thinking about Babysitting for a job give it a try at least, my friend and cousin babysit.

I'm kind of nervous about it but I figured I'd give it a try.

The best advice (if your lookin for any) is that which I got from my uncle....IF the kids get out of hand, give them all the soda and m&m's they can eat then have them jump on the bed....That will calm them down faster than you can say YAY! (But it more than likely could get you arrested for child abuse or negligence) lol

I babysat for a few years while I was highschool/college...but then the kids grew up

Its easy money (tax free!). Watch TV, do homework, play...and get paid for it.

It might be tough at first till the kids get to know you, but then they get excited when you come. Whether it was for a short period of time, or long didn't matter. And I've really only babysat boys (long term) somehow...haha. 3 brothers, then 2 brothers. Well I did babysit a brother and sister once. Girls are just calmer, atleast from what I've experienced. But it was still fun.

The age ranges were 3-10, so I'm sure younger is harder. The older they are the more indepedent they are. Bedtime is probably the hardest. But if you let them stay up a LITTLE bit late, they love you for it...then usually go to bed

I've been thinking about it and it would be good for me if I want children someday.

Of course I need money and I love kids of any age.
