Christmas Gifts for her

Hey I was wondering what are some christmas gifts that would be good to give to a special woman of your life. In my situation we have been dating for near a year now and we are in love. She loves gifts from the heart that have meaning behind them. I want to plan it early and spend some time on it to make it special. So far I have it down to this: I am taking her to Maggianos which is a nice a Italian restaurant. I have a funny/love card for her as a starter, but then I wrote a poem and a love letter which I plan to put in a nice bottle with the theme "message in a bottle." The conflict I have currently is what to get her for a gift to accompany something like that. It feels incomplete giving her something like that when I should also have something she can use or that accompanies that gift. Ladies and gents, any advice or feedback would be great. Consider me an open book that is eager to learn all it can.

My guy got me a .22 Henry rifle a few years back. Then he and his dad put a brass buttplate on it and soon will put my initials on it. I thought that was pretty dang cool and special.
You could always have the scroll with the poem sticking outta the muzzle...

Ducy is just really nice
OMFG Im so doing that. My girl has been dying to shoot a rifle and I turn 18 in two weeks so I can actually buy it lol.

Just do something significant...I did this for a 6 month anniversary, 184 reasons why I loved her. Yes its a random number, but one for each day. Might be a little harder if youve been together for almost a year, but I dont think any girl wouldnt like it. I mean hey not only is it a lot of work, but it has meaning behind it.

From my experience, I've found that girls tend to want things that they like. They also seem to like the things that they want. See how it works? Ask her...

When the wine is decanted...write on it the date & where you were...gift? A nice pendant.

Whatever you decide should be great because you are doing
something SPECIAL for someone that is SPECIAL to you. Taking
the TIME to find just the right gift, picking the perfect setting,
finding the right smile that fills their heart with laughter, etc.
These are all romantic gestures in and of themselves. Good Luck
and I think you are on the right track.

If the opportunity presents itself and you have the time, update
the thread on how things turned out. Probably won't be back but
it would be nice to check back once and see how it went. Again, Good Luck.

Hey, sorry I didnt reply earlier I was in another state helping some friends move. I narrowed the gift choice to the msg in the bottle, which I found at michael's, inside will be a romantic letter and poem. I have already written both from the heart so they are set to go. I also have a friend that knows how to do calligraphy. She said she would find some paper similar to onion paper and write it nicely. So that covers the msg in a bottle part. The other item I feel should be something such as a nice bracelet. That way she can wear it when we go out to restaurants or she can wear it whenever she chooses and it offers itself as a reminder to her that I love her. Now I just need to do some jewelry store searching and keep an eye on what happens for black friday. Thank you for all the suggestions, a gift from the heart is the best way to go, and I know she will melt from this.
