A lot of people do it. They lack coherency with society and get their attention and social goodies in unproductive ways.

But you're right. It can be very frustrating, especially trying to triage who needs an ear and who doesn't.

To deal with a loss of faith, heavy demoralization, hopelessness, I dunno. I have annual bouts of depression and just trudge through. Meditate, keep to those who care for you, try to find you path again.

I build animal habitats and exhibits for state level aquariums (No, not for 10 gallon fish tanks.) The company I work for just finished a job in Roanoke VA, I was at the Science Museum of Western Virginia for about a month and a half installing it. It isn't quite finished in the pic, and it looks kind of jumbled in the somewhat blurry pic, but you get the idea
