And is honestly concerned what they may do to themselves when they give up on believing in themselves...such as life around me & all I am/do is without value/meaning.
She's not suicidal, just having a low and wanting pity and sympathy. It's understandable, but not really condonable.
A lot of people do it. They lack coherency with society and get their attention and social goodies in unproductive ways.

But you're right. It can be very frustrating, especially trying to triage who needs an ear and who doesn't.

To deal with a loss of faith, heavy demoralization, hopelessness, I dunno. I have annual bouts of depression and just trudge through. Meditate, keep to those who care for you, try to find you path again.

Ask me why I do it?? Go on ... ask ... ok then, I'll tell you!

Because I love you all!!

Your quirky little ways...
your advice that sometimes flays.
The "secrets" you love to share...
some things I would not dare!
The warmth within your posts...
even the big penis boasts.
Because behind it all there dwells...
honest help from a bunch of "swells"!

Now then ... I've got that off my chest about my job ... just don't ask me about my religion!
Really wasn't expecting that.

So.... what about your religious views?

Woooooo..heh. Some people are hot headed in here....I thought this was about "what do you do for a living"....if anyone is still actually ON THAT TOPIC: well, then I am an Environmental Scientist. Fancy name for someone that takes water samples from various water systems and freaks everyone out if I find bugs in it under the scope.

cjb1981 has a spectacular aura about
I build animal habitats and exhibits for state level aquariums (No, not for 10 gallon fish tanks.) The company I work for just finished a job in Roanoke VA, I was at the Science Museum of Western Virginia for about a month and a half installing it. It isn't quite finished in the pic, and it looks kind of jumbled in the somewhat blurry pic, but you get the idea
