Rider

I currently train in Martial Arts. I have studied Aikido, Kali, sambo and tae kwon do. My mother also has taught me some Krav Maga. If my training fails me I always have a back up. I carry a Cz-75BD Compact Model.

But I think an Colt Anaconda would be much better for self defense...I mean its hard to fight if you dont have a torso haha

If you live in Florida you can easily obtain a Concealed Carry permit. You need to contact Department of Agriculture for all the required forms. It costs about 70$

It would probably better for a woman . Anyways, you can still defend yourself even if you are not that strong. In Aikido we were taught how to use someones own force against them.

It is pretty harsh stuff. I watched the Krav Maga fight quest the other day(it is on youtube now). I am hopefully going to go train in systema this summer at their Summer Camp event. http://www.russianmartialart.com/

Self defense tactics do not work well for women even with such courses of use of body force; my ex was a self defensive instructor for the Academy--what good does that do me??? Know how to "lock & load" and how to be an expert shooter for target practice--generally revolvers work better for women then semi's. Yes, assuming they have a permit. Also shot guns work well at home!!! One shot is all you need & better make it count; otherwise, you may become the victim.

Why not just use a semi-auto shotgun?

Don't like semi's...too easy to not unload properly for me! Rather work a revolver (.38) any day since I have seen some of the best marksmen accidentally shoot a foot or hand through cleaning and not properly unloading. Much is in banned in NY.
