PROTECT YOURSELF - some tips & techniques when out and about

After due consideration my comments are as follows:

At SexInfo101, one of our paramount concerns is the freedom of speech. As most of you know by now, we will usually allow any post/content/link as long as it is appropriate to the forum/thread and is not likely to be construed by 'the reasonable person' as malicious, crude, insulting, etc... This general principle includes the likelihood of the post/content being inciteful to racism, sexism, violence, etc...

For example, a conversation about the issues of terrorism may be appropriate in this (General Discussion) forum, but the instructions on how to make a bomb would not be.

I realise that it may not be the intention of the poster to be inciteful in these regards, but that may nonetheless be the result. As such, as moderator, I have to make a call on whether a post/content should be allowed, or not; I appreciate that it is a subjective call.

I cannot think of any reason why pictures of weapons would be appropriate to any discussion on this forum - so they may not be posted (with or without their owner). If anyone feels that they need to post pictures/links of weapons, then frankly there are other far more appropriate websites where they can do so.

i think the main point here is for us to be wary at all times....
danger is lurking everywhere....
extra precautions is still best for a safety living....

I disagree with that. Danger is not lurking everywhere.
Live a sensible life and you should have few problems.

Part of not becoming prey is to not BE prey in the first place.
Don't hang out in dangerous places.
Don't hang out with dangerous persons.
Don't do stupid things that put you in danger's way.

im a true believer in guns, "GUNS DONT KILL PEPOLE PEPOLE KILL PEPOLE" but very good advice article. get you concealed hand gun licence. lol if any one were to do any thing like that to my family well lets just say i hit a moveing deer trotting form 350 yards away & a person anit much different at that distance. & yes i killed deer perfect shot it didnt suffer a bit

I may be a hippy French Canadian, but I'm happy we don't have a law here that allows carrying pistols... It would freak me out.
