Brandye is a jewel in the rough
We all "leak" after sex. When you are trying to become pregnant, each drop is precious. There are four-hundred million sperm in each ejaculation so you are not using too much. Here are some pointers:

1. Have sex every other day. This will insure that there are sperm in you when you ovulate and will give your husband recovery time between acts to have a sperm-rich ejaculate.

2. Lie on your back with your hips raised on a firm pillow. Stay in that position for at least fifteen minutes with your knees raised to reduce the drainage. This retains more semen in your vagina and, as your parts return to their normal positions, places your cervix in a puddle of semen encouraging the sperm to swim up into your uterus.

3. Wipe yourself off rather than wash for a few hours.

If 100 women have regular sex for a year with no protection, 85 will become pregnant; continuing for another year, six more will become pregnant. The rest may need some help. When you have been trying for a year, talk to your doctor. There are some potions than can be prescribed to change the acidity of your vagina and there will be some other ideas regarding basal temperature. Eight months is not unusual. Good luck.
